Who we are

Édas.Co is a clothing brand that was born out of the decision to become an entrepreneur and business owner and trying to find a way to be more sustainable in the fashion industry. It is my way to not only care for my family but my ability to express myself through my passion for fashion and the arts and show off my creativity to the world.

Édas. Co strives to provide customers with unique well made high-quality, stylish, modern fashion and handmade products that bring joy and comfort to our customers. I hand make crochet, knit and sew clothing and other household items. Some of the household items include pillow cases, couch cushions, curtains, seating cushions, and everything from crocheted and knitted hats, tote bags, headbands, gloves, scarfs, tops, sweaters, shorts, pants, and baby clothes.

Sustainable efforts

While showcasing my talent and wanting to pursue my goal of fashion design I also wanted to make sure I was contributing towards something bigger and more impactful. Upon entering the fashion industry I quickly became aware of the harm the industry causes to our environment. I took it upon myself to research and become more knowledgeable with how the industry works and how things are produced and disposed of. Since then, I have made it a goal to be as sustainable as I can in my own personal life as well as within my brand and I’ve made an effort to think about a solution with how I can make a change in the world while pursuing my dream.

By taking the slow fashion approach which considers the processes and resources required to make clothing, particularly focusing on sustainability I can significantly slow down the production of clothes being made because we are handmade and are not being mass produced. I also use clothes given to me from family and friends that they no longer want that I repurpose and use dead-stock/thrifted and/ or organic fabric to make clothing such as shirts, tops, tote bags, skirts, dresses and other articles of clothing. The fashion industry can be very harmful to the environment and its workers and we made it our goal not to contribute to that. Though our business is not perfect; it is important to constantly move forward in loving our earth and its people.
